Someone gave me some of these pecan pie bars for Christmas last year along with the recipe…..
Crust: 1 package Duncan Hines Golden Sugar Cookie Mix
1 Tablespoon Water
Topping: 3 Eggs
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 Teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375
For Crust: empty dry mix into 13 x 9 baking pan. Drizzle contents of butter flavor packet and water over mix. Mix with fork until crumbs form. Press crumbs lightly into bottom of pan using fork. Bake @ 375 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly brown. Lightly press surface with fork to level. Reduce oven temperature to 350.
For topping: combine eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Stir until well blended. Add pecans and pour over partially baked crust.
Bake at 350 for 32-36 minutes or until center is set. Loosen from edge of pan and cool.
